The charity provide family arts activities for those with special needs. During the pandemic, they are providing weekly online drama sessions to clients and ‘Live’ weekend classes for clients to watch and join in.


Free online acting class including technique with John Gould. The class will be a discussion on the theory and practice of what makes a truthful acting performance. There may be some acting exercises to try at home.



Over some of last year some Watford residents, young and old, took part in a project from

BEEE Creative . #TAG was an intergenerational dance programme that took place from May to December 2020.


West Watford Community Association

WWCA host a range of activities for all skill levels including, guitar lessons and choir practices. You can find out more on their website.

Big Yellow Choir

Electric Umbrella’s Big Yellow Choir is a community choir with a difference. They mix people with and without learning disabilities of all skill levels into a choir to have a sing along and enjoy themselves. 

The Dan Tien Free Online Classes 

During lockdown The Dan Tien Performing Arts Studio have set up a range of classes and fun activities looking to perform, get advice or just have fun . 

Show Stopper! at the Watford Palace Theatre

Although currently closed due to the pandemic, the Watford Palace Theatre are screening digital performances for all to enjoy, including this award winning improvised musical playing throughout January. Each ticket goes to support the theatre whilst it is in Lockdown.


Threedumb Theatre - The Black Cat

A locally run theatre group, Threedumb Theatre have already run a few virtual plays and have been nominated for awards for their work. Their next play is based on Edgar Allan Poe's The Black Cat. The play runs from the 23 -26 of March.


The Picture of Dorian Gray

Watford Palace Theatre partnered with a number of other theatres to bring this tale to the stage. Written by Henry Filloux-Bennett and directed by Tamara Harvey this faustian tale will be showing online throughout March.

Corona Concerts #5 - Love Songs

As you can't make it to a concert on Valentine's Day the concert can come to you. Lizzy Hardingham will be celebrating her new release, Orpheus, with a small free set of love songs on February the 14th.
